Today (Thursday 1 September 2016) we learnt of the death of Bishop Emeritus Fredrick Drandua, former Bishop of Arua. Bishop Fredrick was Bishop of Arua when the Diocese of Nebbi was established in 1996. Prior to 1996, Nebbi and its parishes were part of the Arua Diocese.
