The Gaf

Whilst in Nebbi, my local is a bar and cafe called the Gaf.  The garden offers reasonable shade of a late afternoon

But sometimes the mosquito activity is too much and so I seek refuge (with my Kindle) inside to enjoy a cold Nile Special. At 3,500 Ugandan shillings (about 80p) for a 500ml bottle, it would be all too easy too have several!

The Gaf also offers food, with goat and chips for 10,000 Ugandan shillings (about £2.50). Just love the spelling of Bon Appetite on the front of the menu (as the laminated menu isn't the easiest ready from the following pictures, it reads Bon A Pete!).
