Following up on an earlier post on the versatility of Ugandan SUVs (aka motorcycles) (
https://sarnianinnebbi.blogspot.ug/2016/09/in-west-suvs-small-utility-vehicles-are.html), I am now persuaded that the Ugandan SUV is more versatile that other models.
Heading back to Nebbi a few days ago after heavy rain, we were looking to cross a stream on the road from Offaka where the bridge was swept away in floods a couple of years ago but had to wait to allow a heavily laden motorcycle make the crossing ahead us,

When the "six wheel drive" option also failed, one of the guys jumped out of our jeep and this provided an "eight wheel drive" option! Fortunately this extra manpower was sufficient and so I was called upon!
