Today (Friday 14 October 2016) is my last day in Nebbi. I leave Caritas Nebbi around 7.30am for Kampala where I will meet with representatives of a number of NGOs who have received funding from the Guernsey Overseas Aid & Development Commission who have received funding for projects in Ugandan in recent years and learn first-hand how the grant aid has been used to meet basic development needs.
So today will be a mixture of packing up my belongings, final meetings with the team here at Caritas and many good-byes.
Heading off to Mass this morning (my last Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary), I was greeted by another beautiful sunrise,
